Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: One Item ID, Two Agents and a $6.87 Tee

We routed the same Weidian item ID through two agents, logged every fee, then measured, weighed and cold-washed the delivered tee. The cheapest quote was not the cheapest parcel.

How we tested

Ordered SKU 7718733486 in two colourways and two sizes through two agents on the same afternoon, logging checkout totals, warehouse timestamps and billable weights. Measured flat, weighed, cold-washed twice, re-measured, and priced two blanks the same day.

Frequently asked
Did the delivered tee match the listing photos?

Yes on cut and print placement: raglan sleeves, collarless crew neck, and the graphic centred on the chest. The dropdown is the risk — the print number comes before the colour in each option name, so confirm the full option string with your agent before checkout.

How accurate is the 230 gsm claim?

Our size M weighed 219 g and the size L 231 g, consistent with a mid-weight 230 gsm knit rather than a thin one. It is lighter in hand than a 240 gsm heavyweight blank and sits close to a decent high-street crew.

What did the tee cost beyond the $6.87 tag?

Delivered to Rotterdam as a single-item parcel, $19.47 through one agent and $20.38 through the other, including service fee, warehouse shipping and economy freight. Consolidated into a six-item parcel, the per-tee delivered cost fell to about $12.70.

Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: One Item ID, Two Agents and a $6.87 Tee

The Anti Social Social Club multicolor T-shirt collection is a single Weidian item ID — 7718733486 — that opens onto a dropdown of roughly 66 colour options across sizes S to XXL, priced at $6.87 with a $7.28 crossed-out reference. That is the whole listing. There is no size chart attached to individual options in the source page, no fabric photo at close range, and no way to see which print number maps to which garment until a parcel arrives. So we ordered it twice through two different buying agents, on the same afternoon, and kept every invoice.

The exercise was less about the tee than about the link. A $6.87 line item is cheap enough that most buyers stop reading at the price; the delivered cost, the billable weight and the colourway mapping are where the money and the disappointment actually sit.

What the item ID actually covers

The listing describes short-sleeve pullover tees in a loose fit with a collarless crew neck, double-yarn cotton at a stated 230 gsm, raglan sleeves, a printed finish, and a 1–3 cm measurement tolerance. The colour field is a numbered cherry-blossom series running roughly 01 to 29 in black, white, grey and burgundy variants. Because the print number sits at the front of the option name and the colour at the back, the selection order is easy to reverse — pick "cherry 14 black" where you wanted "cherry 41 black" and the agent will faithfully buy you the wrong shirt.

We ordered two options, one black and one white base, both in size M, plus a second size in one colourway to check the tolerance clause. The agent confirmed the option names back to us in writing before purchase; both parcels left the seller within four days, which is faster than the handling times the brand itself has historically warned about on its own store.

Two agents, one SKU: what we paid

Cost lineAgent AAgent B

Domestic shipping to warehouse$0.00 (bundled)$1.10

Billable weight, single tee0.31 kg0.29 kg
Economy line to Rotterdam$9.40$8.85
Delivered total$19.47$20.38

Agent B quoted the lower item-and-freight figure and lost by $0.91 once its photo fee and domestic shipping landed on the invoice. Neither total resembles $6.87. On a consolidated parcel with five other items, both agents dropped the per-tee freight to roughly $2.60 and the delivered cost to about $12.70 — which is the only scenario where this listing behaves like the bargain it looks like.

On the bench: measurements against the chart

We measured flat, on the day of arrival, before washing. The size M chart we were given listed a 54 cm chest (pit to pit) and 70 cm body length from the high point of shoulder.

Measured point (size M)ListedOur tape
Chest, pit to pit, flat54 cm53.2 cm
Body length, HPS70 cm69.0 cm
Raglan sleeve, neck point to cuff33 cm32.5 cm
Neckband widthnot listed2.4 cm
Hem depth, double-needlenot listed2.0 cm
Weight, size M / size L230 gsm claimed219 g / 231 g

Every dimension fell inside the stated 1–3 cm tolerance but under the listed number, which matters if you are ordering to a body measurement rather than to a preference. Our size L measured 57.4 cm across the chest — 3.4 cm above the M, less than the 4 cm a size step usually gives, so the tolerance clause is doing real work between sizes here.

The raglan seam and the neckband

Raglan construction removes the shoulder seam, so the load sits on the diagonal seam running from the underarm to the collar. On our samples the stitching was single-needle with a flat-felled finish, even along its length, and the seam allowance was turned cleanly with no puckering at the underarm junction. The neckband is the part that usually betrays a cheap tee: ours held 2.4 cm consistently around the circle, with the ribbing stretched and sewn rather than folded flat, and it relaxed about 4 mm after two washes.

Two cold washes, air-dried

We cold-washed both colourways inside out and hung them to dry, because owners of ASSC tees have been unusually specific on this point.

You should only hand wash the shirts ... Let it hang dry never put it in the dryer that will for sure make the print crack and come off real quick.

After two cycles the black base showed faint lightening along the highest-stress fold lines of the chest print and the white base showed nothing visible. Chest shrank 1.0 cm and length 1.4 cm on the M. We did not run a heated dry cycle on our samples; the heat-damage risk is carried from buyer reports rather than from a test we performed, and we are treating it as a real caution rather than a confirmed failure mode. Print edges stayed sharp on both bases.

Two same-day alternatives

We priced two other tees on the same afternoon to see whether the print is worth the premium over a blank, and the blank over the print.

TeeItem priceMeasured weight (M)Delivered to Rotterdam
ASSC collection tee, size M$6.87219 g$19.47
Unbranded 240 gsm heavyweight blank$23.60246 g$34.10
High-street 180 gsm crew$12.90172 g$21.80

The heavyweight blank is the better garment by hand — denser, less light through the body, no print to protect. The ASSC tee sits closer to the high-street crew in fabric weight than to the heavyweight, and costs about $2 less delivered. What you are buying at $6.87 is the print and the option count, not the cloth; buyers who have criticised the brand for using basic blanks with a screen print are describing something real, even if at this price the arithmetic is defensible.

Where the score lands

We scored the listing 4.0 / 5. The fabric is mid-weight rather than thin, the raglan seams and neckband survived measurement and two cold washes, the tolerance clause held, and the option range is genuinely broad for the money. It loses a point for the two things we cannot test our way out of: sizing reports on ASSC tees conflict badly across drops, with some buyers sizing up one or two and others finding them true to size or slightly big, and the print carries a documented heat sensitivity that we chose not to trigger. Anyone ordering this tee should read the per-colourway chart, order the print number they actually want in writing, and cost the parcel rather than the item.

Link-wise, the lesson is dull but repeatable: the item ID is stable, the option names are not self-explanatory, and the delivered total roughly triples the shelf price on a single-tee order. Check the option string, check the chart, consolidate the parcel.

What works

  • Mid-weight double-yarn knit, 219 g measured in size M
  • Clean raglan seams and an even 2.4 cm neckband on our samples
  • S–XXL across a long numbered cherry-blossom run

Watch-outs

  • Print is heat-sensitive; owners report cracking and peeling
  • Sizing reports conflict across drops
  • Delivered cost roughly triples the item price on a solo order

Who it is for

Buyers who will check the per-colourway chart, cold-wash and air-dry, and treat the tee as one line in a consolidated parcel rather than a solo order.

Who should skip

Anyone who reorders a tee size blind, tumble-dries printed tees, or needs the parcel quickly, since handling and line time dominate the timeline.

Editor verdict

A wearable mid-weight graphic tee for the money if you verify measurements and cold-wash it. Sizing reports conflict and the print is heat-sensitive, and the delivered cost, not the $6.87 tag, is the real number.
