About

Who we are

W2C Source Directory is a small editorial desk based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, founded in 2021. We publish where-to-cop link literacy and cross-agent sourcing guides: how to read a sourcing link, how to check that a spreadsheet entry still points where it claims, and how buying agents behave when you ask them the same question twice.

What we do at the desk

Our team orders featured products and tests them on arrival in Rotterdam. Parcels are opened, measured, weighed and photographed, then compared against alternatives in a side-by-side table. Hands-on product scores run from 4.0 to 5.0 on our five-point scale. Guides and link audits are written from working notes taken while we run the same sourcing route an ordinary buyer would run.

How the desk is organised

Three named editors sign the work: an editor in chief, a reviews editor who runs the ordering and testing schedule, and a research editor who maintains the link and catalog audits. Each has a public author page on this site listing their background and the steps they personally run. Freelance contributors are paid per published piece and are named on the article.

What we are not

We are not a marketplace and we do not sell the products we write about. We do not run a shop, hold stock, or take payment for a listing or a score. Corrections and reader questions go to editorial@w2c-spreadsheet.com.

Editors

Elena MarshEditor in Chief

Expertise: Sourcing link literacy, catalog audits and editorial standards for cross-agent buying guides

Elena Marsh

Elena Marsh runs the W2C Source Directory desk in Rotterdam. She started as a copy editor on a logistics trade title, moved into catalog verification work in 2014, and has spent eleven years reading sourcing spreadsheets closely enough to spot a link that no longer points where it claims. She founded this directory in 2021 and signs the final call on any score above 4.5.

Tobias LangReviews Editor

Expertise: Ordering schedules, bench measurement and side-by-side comparison tables

Tobias Lang

Tobias Lang handles ordering and testing at the Rotterdam desk. He spent four years as a quality inspector in a Rotterdam import warehouse before joining the directory in 2022, which is where he learned to weigh a parcel before trusting a spec sheet. He signs every product score and runs the nine-month retest queue.

Priya RaghavanResearch Editor

Expertise: Link-destination audits, agent behaviour tracking and terminology translation

Priya Raghavan

Priya Raghavan maintains the link and catalog audits behind every guide we publish. She trained as a research librarian, spent five years building reference indexes for a Rotterdam shipping archive, and joined the directory in 2022. She reads Dutch, German and Tamil source material and translates it into English for the desk.
